Spain Shocked by 0:1 Loss to Switzerland in World Cup Group H
Switzerland brought the biggest surprise in the first round of matches of the 2010 World Cup by beating Spain.

The Swiss triumphed over Spain with 1:0 on the Moses Mabida Stadium in Durban Wednesday with the goal scored by its midfielder Fernandes in the 52nd minute.

The Spanish failed to equalize by the end of the match, thus registering their first loss in 48 games, and their first loss from Switzerland.

The Switzerland-Spain match was the very from the first round of matches in the group phase of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Earlier on Wednesday, in the other Group H match, Chile beat Honduras with the same score.

Thus, Switzerland and Chile are in the lead in their with exactly the same number of points and goal difference.
