Bulgarian Currency Lev Ranked Fourth Most Beautiful in World

Bulgaria's currency "lev" (BGN) was voted the fourth most beautiful in the world during the annual meeting of aesthetics commission of the International Financial Bank in Switzerland. The experts evaluated over fifty currencies taking into account their aesthetic design as well as their solvency, the historical significance of the persons or sights depicted on the banknotes, and their durability. The first three spots were occupied by the Ukrainian hryvnia, the Australian dollar, and the euro. The Bulgaria lev was followed by the US dollar, which was ranked fifth.
